Created as a promotional piece for a McPherson College athletic event, the Bulldog Gala poster embodies the art-deco feel of the 1920s with a Gastby-style poster full of elegant golds and intricate weaving of lines. All of the metallic effects, from the detail of the text to the intricacy of the line work, was achieved exclusively in Adobe Illustrator, with no additional filters, layer styles, or edits done in Photoshop; the piece is entirely vectorized and scalable.
Beyond the text and line work following the original Gatsby poster with additional decoration and embellishment, there’s also a "BG” emblem for Bulldog Gala in several areas of the finished piece.
