Arcturus, the name of one of the more well-known stars, is a conceptual calendar piece centering on astrology. The calendar itself is a tri-fold stand. It it sold with a light in a box. That box, once dissembled, shows a star chart inside with different constellations assigned to each month.
Sold separately, individual calendar months are available with a multitude of information, including the symbols and names of the astrological symbols included in the month, the number of days in the month, the number of days out of the total year you'll have progressed, the year of the calendar month, all moon phases, the active moon phases for the month, and of course, the calendar.
The calendar is designed such that the look of the individual month panels may be changed year to year, but the calendar must only be purchased once. The individual month pieces slide into the calendar. The star charts in each month are printed on transparent paper, so a light shining through will project the stars on a wall or other surface.
