Mont Saint-Michel is a French island off the coast of Normandy. At low tide, this island may be accessible by foot, making it not only decently accessible, but also very defensible. This poster is a technical and promotional illustration for a conceptual travel poster and layout spread. The island is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site. The poster uses a cool color palette to depict the iconic landmark and surrounding buildings.
Elements of that building are then used on the travel layout spread. This poster was created exclusively in Adobe Illustrator through layering of color, gradients, and vector patterns. All of the effects are achieved in a vector format.
