In 2016, the National Park Service celebrated 100 years of national parks. I created a conceptual stamp set to celebrate the occasion. These stamps feature my own photography for six of the fifty-nine national parks, which half-tone effects applied based on the lightness and darkness of the images.

The stamps would be sold in small sets or a booklet.

Each of the stamps features an iconic formation, structure, or scene from the national park. The collector sheets detail the specifics of the image featured on the stamp. One of the back sides is shown. A set of matching postcards shows off scenery from each park.

Custom envelopes for each park allow the National Park Service to send out newsletters, invitations, and other information with a pre-printed return address. The first-day issue mark is featured on these envelopes, which is the arrowhead from the National Park Service logo formed from the stamp line pattern with the "100 years" logo on top.

The set includes a book which is purchased separately. The book talks about the set as a whole and highlights specific parks with information beyond what is provided on the collector sheets. There are also several pages on which to place the stamps from the entire collection of fifty-nine.

Two advertisements show off the set with additional photography. The first uses the tagline "See and send new horizons" as a sort of joint effort between the National Park Service and United States Postal Service to promote both the parks and the stamps. The stamps themselves sit on the horizon line. The second uses the tagline "Don't just send a message. Send a memory." This emphasizes the experience aspect of visiting a national park.
